Chemistry..

Experiment 8.14

Results :
Ammonium ion
(a) heating with strong alkali - turns the red litmus paper blue.

(b) Nessler's reagent - Brown precipitate is formed.

Iron (II) ion
Dark blue solution is formed.

Iron (III) ion
(a) Potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) - Dark blue solution is formed.

(b) Potassium thiocyanate - Dark blood red solution is formed.

Lead (II) ion
Yellow solution is formed.


This result is actually for my group to copy.. but if u want to copy too, go ahead, but just don't say that i put this nonsense in my blog...
